Why is my brush roll is not spinning?
You can check your brush roll by tilting the vacuum to the side during use by locking in an upright position and rotating the unit down until the handle touches the floor. If it is not spinning, turn the vacuum off and unplug from the wall. Try turning the brush roll by hand. If it is stuck, make sure there is no debris or hair clogging the brush roll. If the brush roll turns freely, the belt may need to be replaced. Most vacuum cleaners have belts that require replacing after extended use.
